View Full Version : i got hit today :(

On my way to work today . I had to make a car/life threating decision.
I had to choose from getting smashed under the tires on a big rig on my passenger side or side swiping the truck that was on my left side.

I was on the 60 today in the 3rd lane, there was a lot of traffic and the first two lanes where packed with Rigs. The 3rd and 4th lane where only going about 55-60. I was just chilling in the 3rd, when all of the sudden the rig I was next to swerved in to my lane!!! The rig in front of him had braked really hard and I’m going to take a wild guess that that asshole didn’t look over his shoulder to see if the lane was clear. And all I saw was rig wheels right in front of me

So I was forced into the 4th lane that was occupied by a new ford f150. Thank god he saw what was happing... So he braked in time for me to barely tap him front tire. No damage to his truck. Only damage was just to my driver-side rear fender. Where my body lines where molded in at. It didn’t crack the kit; it just shaved a little bit off. I’ll have to take pictures. And it’s totally fixable... I can have it looking brand new again this weekend.

damn that sucks, sorry to hear that, good to hear that the damage was kept to a minimum though :( and you have way too much time on your hands to be able to create that diagram ;)

Very nice diagram indeed. sucks about your car though. soory to hear. good thing it was only a close call and not a major accident.

Glad to hear you're alright.

Hopefully they'll be able to match your paint when you fix it :p

Glad to hear that your alright and that the damage was minimal. I agree with the above statement though...way too much time on your hands with that diagram..haha..good shit! :tup:

wow... thats a very well done diagram... i like how you even went as far as to show the breaklights of the truck in front of the "dumb truck". i dont even have to read the post and i know exactly what happened... :tup:

so thats what all the traffic was about....glad to hear you're ok...sorry about the car.......next time do it on another freeway...jk....:rolleyes:

Small scrape? Is it totaled? If it would have cracked the body kit your car would have been totaled with only two payments left for sure! :D

J/K glad you're ok as it could have been MUCH worse, did the guy in the rig stop?

no he didnt and im pissed.. he just kept on going.. and i couldnt tell one rig aprt from the next.. all i remember was that he was blue :(


I'll take a pic when i get home.. it looks like some one took a human size cheese grader to my fender and my back bumper. no cracks, no dents... just surface damage . i can fix it. it wouldnt take me long.
