O.K.... Has anyone put the Autotech 2.5 cat-back system on their 337/20th AED?
If so please let me know if the cost is worth the improvement and sound you gained.
I have heard that most of the systems don't do all that much as far as performance is concerned. Would the $$$$ be better invested in something else? I have already chipped it and installed a CAI.
Any input would be most helpful.

Oh yes if the system sounds gettho-rice I'm not even interested no matter what.

Thanks. :hitit:

Most 2.5" cb systems will net you about a 10% gain on average, some more than others. The main difference system to system is the sound. Personally I think autotech stuff is way overpriced. If you can get a deal then go for it. I personally had a custom made system with 2.5 inch piping at a muffler shop, crush bends even. All I have engine wise is Eurosport CAI, SAMCO TIP, EVO DV, Eurosport 2.5 dp/cat, custom 2.5 catback no resonator with magnaflow muffler and I dynod 208hp/260tq to the wheels on 100 octane with REVO 4 bar sps3 software.

Autotech exhaust is very nice and clean
what are you looking for in an exhaust

Milltek/APR - best sound quality
Autotech/TT - best performance but can be a tad loud
Eurosport - good overall for the $$

The Autotech setup is nice, however it's kind of expensive for what you're getting.
I'd recommending looking into the Eurosport exhaust. It's reasonably priced, stainless, and sounds great.

I would get a SAMCO TIP and a 2.5" downpipe/cat. You'll get more gains from those two mods than from adding a catback, cost is about the same for those two compared to a nice catback system also. Then again, I don't know your future plans for the car, big turbo? If so then look into getting a 3" catback instead, GHL makes nice systems, and they have quiet and loud versions.
