I don't have an issue with anyone, I just don't like the fact that People make it seem like use people with bmw's at the meet are stuck up. People that I have talked to at the meet know that is not the case. I don't want people to get the wrong idea about us, it already happened when cary was around and I have talked to kelly and others and I think I have shown that I, as well as my buddies are not like that.

I didn't mean that I didn't like anyone there, I simply do not like the person that is talking bad about us. I am sorry for being shy and keeping to myself. The only reason that we park where we do is cause we have always parked there, no other reason. We are all car enthusiest, and that is what keeps me coming back every monday.

I've made it a point to say hi to everyone I see whenever I go to this meet. I'll be honest, the first few times I've gone (like last year), no one approached me or looked approachable.

The meet just feels really clique-y, like everyone's got their whole thing going on. The mini people hang out by their minis, the VW people are chillin in little groups (but spread out everywhere), and the BMW ppl are over in the corner with their hoods up and not saying a single thing.

I'm willing to overcome that and just force myself to go up to people and say hi, but I don't think I (or any newcomers) should have to feel like they're forcing themselves in, trying to make themselves known or something.

I realize that a lot of the same people have been going to this meet for a long time and have made friends and stuff, but my philosophy is, if you see a new face and they haven't talked to you, go up to them and say hi, make them feel welcome.

I can honestly say that in the times I have gone to this meet, like one or two people have actually come up to ME and said hi or asked what I was driving, as I was walking around snapping pictures or admiring cars. I'm not gonna get butt-hurt about it or anything, but it does feel a bit...cold-shouldered, I guess.

At any rate, it doesn't matter, I'm still gonna say hi and ask what people are driving in, because a meet's about the cars first and foremost, as well as the people driving them. Anything else comes secondary, cliquey-ness, drama, etc.

I drive one of them minis, and as far as i know i've made it a point to try to say hi to every one i see, Its hard to know every one since the meets are getting so big, but us mini people are very mixed up with the dubbers as of lately. excpesially since there are some many more of you guys over us, we are more of the social butterflies of the meet and wonder around more than any of the so called clicks.

I have gotten cheaper prices then 65 i grabbed the yellow pages and just called places it helps if you speak Spanish lol i think i got one for 35 once but i don't remember who it was :(

robert will be there with his vag com. he can scan both MkIV's and MkV's. I got one too but i can only scan the can-bus interface which is only the MkV's but Robert will able to.. he's cool and only charges a small fee.. good guy

errors errors, all these errors. i'm gunna pull the lights out of my BMW cluster if i see the damn airbag light comes on for a sensor again.

Anyways back to topic, i'll be there, i need vag'ing but i have some issues regard my warantee. if he does my windows and curtesy lights... could a dealer see that its been modified like when they read it for an error (theres that word again) or to reset my service?
