Seeing flames over the ridge from our house. Looks like it is moving northeast, away from us for now. I'll feel much better when the cop that is stationed at the top of our road leaves. Keep safe everyone in the neighborhood.

Thanks Alan. We had Carissa go to a friends house, and told her not to come home unless she hears from us. We are packed and ready to go, just like last time. I'm glad there isnt' much wind today, that's the one good thing. It seems to be moving up the hill away from us right now.

Everyone in the area seems to be clear now. The fire is a good 3-4 miles away from Dan and Tracy's and Jason and Robin's homes. I was never in immediate danger as the fire was already 2 miles away from my house and moving away.

Yup, as long as the wind doesn't make a drastic change, we are all good now. :)

Fire is pretty much contained today and they're expecting it to be out fully tonight.
