Bought a 20D / 350D for sale

OK, so I ended up buying a 20D... I guess I'll have a new camera in a few days. :)


Anyone want to buy my Rebel XT/350D with grip, extra battery, and 18-55mm lens? After getting it re-calibrated from Canon it'll be as god as new (bought less than 3 weeks ago).

in fact....most people are more dissapointed with the quality of SLRs over point and shoot. (not that the 350 is a point and shoot...just saying)

OK, it just sounded that way when I read it. I guess it really is that time of the month... Maybe I'm just kinda mad I didn't just buy the 20D off the bat.

For those interested, here's the scenario and why I decided to get the 20D:

I've been having focus problems with my 350D. But I've been doing lots of work in the three weeks since I got the camera and am getting some great leads for actual paid work. For example, I did a shoot with a sponsored urban rider and one of his sponsors loves the shots and wants to buy some. The rider I shot knows a lot of magazine people and because he loves the shots is going to get them published. One of his other sponsors is interested in using me for some of their other shoots. I've also been scheduling lots of shoots with models and because I know someone with a fashion show on TV will be getting both myself and them work.

Back to the 350D. I didn't want to be out of my only camera for two weeks to get it recalibrated when right now I've got all these hot leads. And because I will be doing paid sports photography and eventually I know I will outgrow my 350D I decided to just take the plunge now and upgrade. I'm hoping that because the camera is so new I can get a little more for it. I've shot a ton with it so I'm happy with the use I got out of it. I know that right now I haven't really outgrown the camera and I have a LOT to learn but because of the situation and the fact that I got a pretty sweet deal on a 20D that I made this decision.

Thanks! And yup, as you can read above that's one of the reasons I am upgrading. I am bummed about the money I lose in the deal but considering I have probably jammed 3 months of a normal person's use into three weeks I guess it's ok.
