ok... ill start with the craziest part of my day, that tarentino it back to the start...
i ran a red light, whilst speeding, right in plain view of a cop, and got away with it............... :eek:
ok now the beginning... i went to discount tire to put my tires on, and to get some locking lugs. the mounting went quickly, and i left shortly after. i got a call from my bro, "Dude, your bumper's here" (a few days ago i ordered a rieger bumper for my jetta). needless to say i was ripping it hom, well i have a 2.0 so ripping it means redlining in 5th gear at a brisk 80mph. i see a green turn yellow far ahead, but i go for it, i have to see my new bumper. the light turns red about 5 feet ahead of me, and to my right, on a perpendicular streets left turn lane, i notice a black and white crown vic........... shit its too late
i slow to 35 and start veering to the right, a ticket is inevitable. i look in my rear window, and the cop turns in the opposite direction of me..... ?????????!!!!?!?!???!
i look at the road, speed up a little and look again... no cop. i now have a :eek: face, and im driving with my hand on my head, why on my head? i dont know....
i make the trip home, shaking, and i reflect on what just happened.... than it hit me, i have a new bumber!!!! i had a pretty rad day :tup:
