View Full Version : Fast n furious 3 casting call in Los Angeles Sunday

We will be staging cars at the Southside Parking lot near the Main
Entrance.

Universal people will be arriving promptly at 12pm, so showing up an hour early couldn't hurt!!

GREAT NEWS!!

EverythingDrift.com is working closely with the casting director of Fast and Furious 3 (which we all know will be about drifting). They are looking to film a very large drift scene in November, and have started the process to find "extra" cars. Remember the street racing and racewars scenes in the first movies? All of those cars were cast in a similar way.

This weekend, there will be a large casting call in the Los Angeles area. Basically, a bunch of cars (including yours) will show up, have its picture taken, some information taken down, and the planning will begin for the scene in November.

WE ARE GETTING INFORMATION ON THE SPECIFICS REGARDING THIS CASTING CALL Sunday MORNING AT 7 am!

What we need is YOUR information. if you are in the LA area, and interested in having your car on the big screen, PLEASE reply to this bulletin with your name, your contact information, and the car you have. Since this is a movie, they are looking for cars which are "presentable" in front of the cameras. So while you may drift your scruffy-looking 240, they're more interested in the 240's with nicer paint jobs and such.

Cars they are interested in:
240's
350's
AE86's
Supras (mk3 and mkIV)
RX7's
RX8's
IS300's
Skylines

In addition, they are also looking for:
WRX's
Lancer's
xB's
other Turbo cars too

If you have any of these cars, or have friends with any of these cars, LET US KNOW NOW!!!

they are going to make another one of these movies................I was hoping the fad woud die out...........atleast there aren't any euros in there to butcher like the poor MK3 jetta in the first on

how about they for once let the real euro kids come out to play. i say we make our own short movie (crappy acting and directing same as the fandf movies) but with euros and just show us womping on some poor civics and a surpa or two to be unrealistic

we can drift let the bimmer guys in =P

actually the wings west jetta was in the first movie too bad a famous import writting staffer from a certian primedia based title had to ruin the scene by crashing while playing the in car via a dash moutned screen playing gran tourismo

I can take out some HD cameras from work and we can make one :) The new Sony HD camera is PERFECT for in-car camera mounts... so small!

I'm serious, let's have some fun with it.

ron - good to see you out at the casting call today!

1/2 of the movie will be filmed in Japan. So that is being taken care of. And the casting call was scheduled around the events in the drifting community. This was an open weekend, that's why it was picked. Even with Dubfest, there were some dope Euros at the meet. And around 450 cars overall...
