Selling a 1989 Volkswagen GTI 1.8L 16 valve 2 door hatchback. It's a 5 speed manual transmission with 170,xxx miles on the motor and chasis. I am the 2nd owner, I've had this for 3 years. This car is great for daily driven commutes and great for college student to get around town. Selling because I recently bought a new vehicle and I have no room in my garage for another car.
SPECIFICATIONS:
-Original Black Paint
-170,xxx miles on motor and chasis
-Runs strong and very reliable, always oil change every 2 1/2 months or 3k miles
-Clean title w/ tags up to date
-Exterior & Interior black with red trimings/clean in & out
-AM & FM Cassette Player (has bad reception on am & fm radio)
-A/C but needs freon
-15x6 BBS RAs 4x100 bolt pattern et36
UPGRADE GOODIES:
-Eurosport short shift w/Autotech weighted rod
-Techtonics exhaust system w/Dynomax muffler
-Weitec 40/40 GT Cup Kit shocks & spings combo which lowers the vehicle about 1.75' inches
-6 puck clutch kit with brand new tranny fluid. Been on the car since mid April 05.
-Recent tune-ups was about 4 months ago, they are: timing belt, timing belt tensioner, alternater belt, power steering belt, power steering fluid, radiator, radiator fluid.
BADs:
-May need to to replace CV boots.
-some dings and don't wants.
-typical droopy headliner.
Overall this car is great. Must see and drive to appreciate this baby. Also will have some extra parts to throw in.
