Emergency Landing....

Right now in the news, a passenger airplane is about to land at LAX with a crooked front gear. Lets have a moment of prayer that they land in one piece and all of them make it out alive.

Thankfully the the gear did not collapse, and the worst were the magnesium wheels catching on fire, and desintegrating. Seems like everyone's gonna be ok. :tup: BTW, thanx Lon.

been chatting w/LON on AIm....pilot got it right on that white center line.....I was expecting the gear to collapse...thankfully it didn't!!!

Pilot did an awesome job landing. We(Coast Guard) were on standby. It happenend on the other side of the terminal.
