Next month the car's map gets fixed with a Revo Stage 2, tuned via SPS3 at Ecodetuning. I was formerly working with UPsolute, but ever since the stock turbocharger was replaced the process for getting a custom map from them got complicated with minor success, not to mention that though Lanny's a great guy he lives really far away and has Downtown LA and its poorly planned "let's put the 101, 10, 5, 110, 60, and 2 all within a couple of miles of one another -- it'll be great" freeway hub in the way as well. A drive down to Torrance is one freeway (yes, the 405, but that's no biggy if you drive against traffic) and I'll finally see if they can get rid of my rich condition at WOT (drops below 10 past 5000 RPM) through the SPS3's limited tuning.
It's no Jabba, but then again, there isn't anything like Jabba out here so this is really the next best thing.

 that should be fun
Looking forward to seeing the results. EM is the next mod on my list but I am going plug and play.

Just got back from Torrance, thankfully beating rush hour traffic at LAX. The flash is good. No more rich A/F past 4000 RPM -- in fact, it's nice and solid, and you can definitely feel it. Power curve is much more smooth as well.
Only one problem, and it's not the software: David at Eurocode noticed something that I've always suspected, tested for, and could never find: a possible boost leak. Requested boost is 1.4 bar and it never gets past 1.1 bar with the N75 requesting everything the turbo's got, so yeah, that old problem.
I once tried finding it and never could, and I've had a number of people check it out, including Renner Motorsport, and they couldn't find anything either. Whatever it is, it's small but detrimental. I'll try once again looking for the sucker this week using a technique David suggested, but I'll more than likely end up having to leave the car with him to perform a full-on diagnosis with smoke and all.
I can actually pinpoint when I noticed boost loss -- it was after that Autocross on August 3, 2003. I blew the DV valve and the boost was never the same after that day, even after I replaced the DV.
We shall see. In the meantime, at least I'm not dumping fuel at WOT anymore.
