Need Welding Services...

Hi...i'm usually not over in SoCal forum, used to spend lots of time on Vortex and just browse over here. I've spent most of my days in LA and am usually found at the 310 IN/out Thurs GTG but since i've moved to SD i dont have much contact with anyone so i've decided to come over here...to a more chill/mature board :).

Anyways, I'm in need of some cutting welding of reinforcing bars off of a set of seats (base and backrest) onto another set of seats. I was wondering where i might be able to get this done, or better yet if any fellow socal people might be willing to help me out. I have no experiece with welding at all though so i won't be of much help. I'd be willing to pay for services just dont want to get jacked at a professional welding shop for a simple cut/weld job.

So you need some brackets made? I should have a couple hours tomorrow available. Im affordable.

Not brackets...and nothing needs to be made. Just cut off one chair and welded onto another. 4-6 pieces of rebar per chair, welded to the backrest frame and the seat bottom frame (rebar for huge side bolsters). Should be a pretty easy job for anyone that can cut and weld...just not me :). Thanks for your offer, I'll let you know. Only thing is, the seats that i want to weld the rebar on are in my car, and i can't drive anywhere if i take the seats out and cushions off to get to the frames.

Yeah, i believe we met...but you haven't seen my car since it was totalled in may of last year. I was driving a red focus rental for a while, maybe you saw me in that. Once i get my car all in order i'll try and head over to fusion, i've been there once but that was around 1.5 yrs ago.
