FS: Forge 007 DV [diaphram]

up for sale: Forge 007 DV (black) used for about 40k miles~ no problems w/ it at all. the DV was re-greased every oil change I had... so about 4-5 times.

- green spring
- I'll include Mobile 1 synthetic grease.

I'm bringing it to the Hooters GTG in ANAHEIM on Wednesday. If no one buys it their. Then, I'm open to all offers.

dumps the charge-air back into the intake rather then a BOV which releases the charge air thru the atmosphere. the diverter valve is more reliable maintaining boost, holds very well and creates quicker throttle response!

I am the 2nd owner of the DV, i bought it off an auto GTI 1.8T! it will make a difference for sure.

the forge 007 holds boost better than stock, the stock one will rip under high boost over time. i had an HKS BOV on my 1.8t for over 3 years, removed it due to pressure from the dealership, not gonna warrenty my car...long story (rough morning start ups, updated software, the cars back to normal). never had any problems with it, no cel, or limp mode. other than it scaring kids, people, cars, buses, small and large animals, attracting attention from other motorists and cops...lol

both will do its job, one vents ther other recycles. the only difference i noticed between the two, one's louder than the other. i currently have the turbo XS H25 bypass valve and a AEM CAI. it makes a whoosh sound, rather than a PPHHHHSSSSTTTTT!!!

like i said, it only makes a sound when in 'reverse' position. and that "dead bird cry" gets a lot of heads turned.

i get a whoosh out of my bypass valve, its reversed. i get the whoosh when i let go the throttle when switch gears. but i have an intake or cold air intake to help it out. this vavle should do the same thing.

i also have the 007 and there is a small amount of noise when letting off the boost, as for a difference in power? best little $80 i spent.. i mean it doesn't give you 50whp but for the money it's definitely worth,... but i also have a question.. what is the difference in how many rings i place on the inside with the spring? i tried a few different set ups and didn't notice anything.. can someone help me out on this? :confused:

i think you need the Piston ram type 007 DV, not the diaphram type.
