here's another on the same day, same guys, some can't drive VIDEO (http://pages.sbcglobal.net/borist/danger3.wmv)

He is rather excitable.
The Porsche club used to come out to Lime Rock back when I lived in the east. Every time you'd see a bunch of them lose it on the 90degree at the end of the straight.
heh.

That instructor is a joke, i cant beleive that man is teaching people how to drive while conducting himself in the manner that he did. Very unprofessional, at Racerfactory (http://www.racerfactory.com) you will find that the majority of the instructors are top of the line. :D Judging by the fact that there are instructors in the cars, i am guessing that the drivers are beginners on the track for their first time. Going off track is common...

yeah he is, its a driver education at the track for beginers in 300hp cars.....most of these people never drive there cars hard unless they are at the track, so when the tail sticks out they dont have the smarts to floor it and steer it like a madman.......they let off the gas and the front and rear ends trade places rather easily (fun to play with at 30 mph in an empty parking lot but gets harry over 60mph on an interchange) hey pat, can I come out and play with you guys when I get my 3.2 Carrera back together? or is it VW only :(

Going off track is common...
Huh? Not that common. It happens now and then but I wouldnt say it was common. Common for you perhaps..... your one of only 2 students ive been off track with.
Besides, the beginner students almost never go off track, its them hard charging intermediate drivers that spend lots of time in the dirt.
I love how this guys states he'e been teaching for 18 years.... OMG!!
So what was his problem? All he had to do was tell his student to slow down alot and let the car get ahead. At the very least, pass him on the straight. Too funny.
Mike: as long as the car will pass a simple tech inspection, you can bring anything you want.

Did you ever go before they built the turn at the top of the hill? The Porsche guys would go charging up it and get real nervous when they started floating.
heh.

There were quite a few beginners in the dirt at the streets one guy in a mini went off big bent his rear suspension arms badly both front struts blew a couple tires etc. there were no big offs in intermediate. I spent no time in the dirt was really sideways a few times

Reason for my statement, maybe i should have said any beginners driving a mini tend to go off, Or "expert autox drivers" who get into 1.8T corrado's.
Not only did he destroy his rear control arms, he bent the frame really bad. Huge hood gap on the drivers side and no gap on the passenger side. gnar gnar, I was glad to see someone from socaleuro actually come out to an event and drive their car hard, you did well.
Were you impressed with that M7 mini that everyone hypes up that participated in that mini vs. sti track day at big willow? He was a nice guy we just thought he took phuck up lines when we saw him at every station we worked.

That driver was in the intermidiate class and just entered the esses WAY too fast. More then likely he was trying to impress his passenger, but thats just an opinion.
