View Full Version : Package Finally arrived and i am excited.

So i ordered my patec finishline series coilovers well over a month ago and they were supposed to be here on the 26th of last month, and they got here 3 days ago:mad:. despite the wait i am so happy they are finally here and i cant wait to put them on. i dont have a garage, so the rain is making it a little hard, but they will be done asap. anyway, just wanted to vent some excitment.:tup:

Not saying its a good idea but.

I have had 6 different suspensions on 2 different MK4s in the pas 2 years and never gotten an alignment.

Never had the car pull either way and always had even tire wear.

Maybe MK4s are different

Mk4's ARE different.

Camber isn't adjustable on a Mk4. Camber IS adjustable on a Mk2 and Mk3. When you remove the front struts, the camber is thrown off completely.

Word to that! Mike Kim installed my suspension and I have not had it aligned...had no reason to.

I bought my suspension from Mike Kim (http://www.purems.com). He did a fast and thorough job intstalling it too! :tup:

well.... looks like alignment it is:( another way to spend more money... where is the cheapest place... something like just tires which is like 45 or something i think?

The only alignment i can think of in the front is your toe angle. But that can be done by yourself via tierods.
