View Full Version : Good suspension shops in SD?

Whats up everybody.. I just got off the phone with East County Alignment, obtaining a price quote to have my shocks and springs installed, with an alignment, and was quoted 600$!!!! Thats 8 hours of work (they claim 2 hours per corner) at 85$ an hour...

This seems extremely expensive.. are there any other highly respectable shops in SD that I could try that won't break the bank like such? I could do it myself, but only have previous experience with mustang suspensions...

Thanks if you have some info!

www.purems.com .. Mike Kim can handle the install for a reason price, and he could source the parts

try www.socaleuro.com/links.htm for other local shops

Group5motorsport is another local shop thats reputable
either way, mention SCE and someone will take care of you

im sure someone else will recommend some other shops

I can tell you right now.... most of us drove up to Mike Kim at Pure Motorsport in Temecula.

If you come out to a San Diego GTG, he has probably done every other car in in the lot.

hmmmmm ... thats an interesting statistic ..... now that you mention it ... lets put up a poll to see the customer satisfaction of Mike Kim at pureMS ;)

just my guess, we wont find anyone that wouldnt give him excellent feedback

FYI.. i had a nice long conversation with MIke today on the phone, and boy did he EVER beat the price of east county alignment.... They weren't even in teh BALLPARK!!... I will be buying my parts and letting him do the installs...

He was friendly, informative, knowledgable, and even said I could watch him do the work :)
