View Full Version : Help With Suspension choices!

Sup everybody. I am researching suspension for my R32, and need some more help.

My Goal: Lower my R32 with a set of springs lowers the car the LEAST. I think 1" would be about right, and keep the ride as CLOSE to stock comfort as possible.

Considerations: H&R sport springs (1.25"drop, mild ride) and koni adjustable sport shocks (can be set to soft). I am not looking for coilovers because they tend to be a more harsh/track setup, and they are out of my budget.

So does that spring/shock combo look good? Any other spring you know of that only comes down around an inch that maintains a really good ride? (I daily drive this car, not track it)

Thanks for any info you can provide, FYI I am also going to be equiping a newspeed 22mm RSB...

H&R is always a good choice ... also look if Neuspeed or Vogtland makes springs for the R32

Koni or Bilstein are top picks for shocks, bilsteins may be firmer than the koni setup

so, any of those brand combinations will work well for you

I think the ultimate setup for me, woudl be the "on the softer side" koni adjustable shocks, with a set of Eibach pro-kit springs, as they only come down 1 inch and are progressive, leaving a VERY stock like ride, until the spring really compresses.

Unfortunately, the pro-kit isn't available for the R32... so i was hoping to get a solid recommendation on what was second best (for what I was looking for)

H&R coilover here. Nice ride and i can take the turns ALOT faster... Anything above that bugzy mentioned is right on
