I was going to try to make it out last week but ended up just cruising the back roads in the national forest between here and there. Found some great roads. I'll try to make it down one of these weeks.

I'm gonna try to make this one for sure, especially with Boosted Boogie's offer to install my Predator Chromiums (if I've gotten the real ones by Wednesday). I think I'm gonna return the ones to BimmerBlvd because of all that drama and the fact that they don't have the lifetime warranty that they said they had on the website. Anyway, I'll save that crap for another thread another time. Hopefully, I can make it. Might have a few new goodies on my car by then, no more rolling stock (or almost stock).

jacobo, i personally know the new owner of bimmerblvd and can ask him at the meet, or next time i see him online. last i talked to him he was trying to get everything organized. im pretty sure his DDE kits have the warranty.

Actually, their kits don't have the lifetime warranty. David told me in an email. He said they would, however, warranty mine. But he also said they will no longer be carrying the "Predator Chromiums", so how can they lifetime warranty something they won't be carrying anymore? I was also told by someone that looked at my kit that it isn't the same Predator Chromiums that Umnitza makes and sells, so.........Will David be at the meet?
On another note, can someone refer me to A GOOD WHEEL REPAIR PLACE. I NEED SOME NICKS AND DINGS TAKEN CARE OF, AND SLIGHT BEND. Thanks in advance.

no david lives in torrance, but i talk to him regularly online and i know the bmw group up there in riverside.
even though he doesn't carry the predators anymore, if any of his kits have problems im pretty sure he can outsource order whatever replacement part you need.

I should be making it down to this. Hopefully I will be able to meet a bunch of euro fanatics (esp. BMW) that are mechanically inclined, or can help me out in the near future with the installation of some mods.
I have become retarded when it comes to doing much but cleaning my car. I used to do everything myself, but I just can't get myself to work on my BMW since I don't want to fcuk anything up and have to pay to fix it.
Been wantin' to meet some other people in the area that are as into their car as much as I am. My gf just doesn't get it, and a lot of my other friends like cars, but aren't really into modding.

My car will deifnitely be dirty. My girl's been driving it, so the inside will be kinda dirty, there will be a bunch of shopping crap in it, and since I had to go to LA in the drizzle on Saturday and had to park it on the street the last couple days in the damp weather because of the finishing of the parking lot in our condo complex, it looks like crap. And I can't wash it, becuase we are not allowed to get the new pavement wet for another week (seems retarded for them to request that when they decided to do the repaving right around the time the weather got bad and it started to rain, idiot HOA, it's taken over a week and a half for what was supposed to be a 4-day job *just a little rant since I've had to park on the street 5 times recently, and it's a damn hike to get up the entrance back to my condo from the street*).

It wasn't too bad. Intake's not quite as loud as I was hoping. Might have to remove a resonator, or get an exhaust. Would love the UUC TSE3, but $1000 + is more then I wanna spend right now.

you should definitely do the golf-tee mod (search on e46fanatics) and it will sound perfect. it's a free mod too. removing the 2nd resonator will make it sound deeper too.

Golftee mod? Enlighten me. And is it better to remove the 2nd or 1st resonator?

pretty much look at the right of your muffler, unplug the little tube that goes to the muffler, and use a golf tee or something and a ziptie to seal it up. what that is for is it's a vacuum that activates at low rpms which closes one of the muffler tips, that way the noise at low rpms is reduced. with that vacuum source plugged up, the tips stay open at all times and it dramatically changes the sound of the car.
i would remove the 2nd smaller resonator (closest to the muffler).

Werd. I'll have to chaeck that out. I just ordered my arqray replica lip today from JFRacing. A friend of mine is gonna pick it up on Thursday for me and hopefully bring it down so I can get it over to the body shop. I'm still dealing with the POS one that I got from that other POS place that didn't fit. Trying to get them to send UPS to pick it up and issue a refund. I'm sick of dealing with them. They suck a$$!
