Bush Visit to Delay Traffic on San Diego Freeway
From a Times Staff Writer
The visit to Los Angeles by President Bush will cause traffic delays on the San Diego Freeway this afternoon and Friday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

LAPD Lt. Paul Vernon said intermittent delays and closures will affect the 405-Sunset Boulevard interchange between 4 and 9 p.m. today.

Vernon said motorists will encounter the same delays Friday morning between 7 and 10 a.m.

i remember when vice president heart attack visited here (OC), there was traffic nightmares around SNA....funny thing was, their caddy limos were not tinted and it was easy to see everyone inside (including the vice president and that messican dish lady)

hahah there "might be some delays" ...lets see the 405 on a friday afternoon at 5 ....someon needs to explain to the presidential advisors that the 405 on a friday after noon is worse than the beltway in DC
