sent some wheels to be powdercoated (2 total) and the finish came out like crap....so i rejected one and paid for and took the other......upon closer inspection at home this one is pretty shitty also.......it kinda is a pain to deal with this place....the people are nice, but the work sucks!!!!

you need to have all that figured out before you give them your wheels. They should have some type of satisfactory gaurantee, and you should have a general consencus about how good of work they do, BEFORE you had your wheels over to be ruined... that way if they fail to provide the service you are paying for, you have something to fall back on.

Id take the other wheel back as well.

If you can make a drive to santa ana i highly recommend EMBEE Performance Powder Coating. Talk to Jeff and tell him mike sent you. he will hooooook you up. he doesnt let any shit leave the plant everything has to be to your satisfaction.
hope this helps for future powder coating.

Good to know  Are they able to "mask off" certain areas (i.e. lips) or do they only have the "ability" to powdercoat the entire wheel?

My buddy just got his rims done for a great price and they came out awesome!! I think it ran him $55 a rim for the true up and powder coating but not 100% on that.

This is the before.

They can mask off any part of the wheels as long as it is a metal finish. masking off a powder coated finsih would just melt in the oven. if you wanted a two tone finish then they would go to a liquid paint and not a powder coat which is just a durable.
