i was just wondering what typical pricing was for an oe replacement of a clutch/flywheel and throwout bearings are?
i was charged 1375
~840 for parts and ~420 for labor.

Basically you were charged a little more than straight dealer list.

These are dealer list pricing (which is what our suppliers calculate there pricing to us off of which is far below this, but it is used as a baseline.)

Dealer List
225mm Dual Mass Flywheel w/clutch assembly $728.22
Mounting hardware Roughly $30
Which equals a total of $758.22 for parts.

Which gets you a clutch assembly that will die young under stress. As before unfortunately.

well i just got my car back and the clutch pedal is a lot softer than before. is this anything to be worried about? sorry for the probably lame question. young and learnin'.

hmmm, i think my clutch felt lil softer when i got mine replaced too, but its kinda subjective

Wow, i can get a performance clutch and some with that price.

We sell the SACHS OEM clutches for $274.95 with an install rate of about $275 or so on most applications.
