Into The Night rallye team proudly presents

THE FAR HORIZON

Our 20th annual 15 hour Monte Carlo style navigational Road Rally.

Start and Finish in Las Vegas, Nevada.

November 11 -13, 2005

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALL LEGAL VEHICLES WELCOME. NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.

Everybody likes to drive the back roads? You know, those beautiful two-lanes sweeping through miles and miles of open country? What if somebody put together the best roads they could find into a kind of giant board game with your car for a game piece and the landscape for a board? Can you get to the right places at the right times in the right directions? Think Geocaching against a clock, using maps instead of GPS.

This rally will mark our 20th year doing this event. In celebration, for the first time ever, we will Start in Las Vegas to allow the rally to run deep into Utah and the red rock country. There will be a special photo control near Bryce Canyon and all entries will receive pictures of their cars in action. This is some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet. You will see why we call this rally THE FAR HORIZON. Please note that we will probably never be able to bring our event into this part of the world again. We strongly suggest you do everything possible to make it to this event. It will likely be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This is not a race. However, opportunities for spirited driving will abound. Paved roads only. 2 people per car (driver and navigator) are strongly suggested. Event runs rain or shine. There are 4 classes: Beginner, Novice, Regular, and Expert. We suggest you bring a clipboard, pen, paper, 3 different colored highlight markers, and a good digital clock that allows you to set the seconds. (A stopwatch is not the best choice.)

The entry fee for this event is only $95 per car and includes the rally, awards brunch for 2, and whatever swag we can come up with. PREREGISTRATION ONLY. First time cars (driver and nav), and those bringing a first time car, get $20 off each. All entries must bring vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and driver's license to Start. Headquarters hotel is the Palace Station, 2411 W. Sahara Av. 702 367 2411.. We have a block of rooms in the 2-story section reserved at $99 per night plus tax. Mention the Into The Night Car Rally to get this rate when you make your reservation.. For other hotel options, please book online with your favorite service, consult a AAA Tourbook, or email us with your needs and we'll try to help..

Please call the number below if you have any questions.

I'm totally down but I'd have to be a navigator as I don't have a license.
