Anybody have Win98 or 97 lying around?

I have old Toshiba laptop lying in my room and it needs an operating system to work. My friend tried snagging one from online and it wouldn't take hold in the system. The comp is so old it can't run anything new so 98 is about the newest it can run.

I just want it to run so Nicole can use it for essays and such in word.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have Windows 98 Upgrade. I don't know if that will help you. Also, i have a cousin who lives out there in Fallbrook. The only downside is that he is coming over here in an hour.

Sorry, I am not a dork, hence I don't know the 97 thing. Oh darn. If you find your copy and hook it up, that would be great.

I don't think the upgrade would do any good, at least not until I actually got the OS on the computer.

win 98 upgrade will work as the full version, just need a serial. If I remember correctly.
