what the hell is going on? first of all there's not that many APR dealers in sounthern cali and second, the shops i have been to can't seem to get their shit straight.
i first went to Hartman motorsport:tdown: BAD IDEA!!! BAD REP!!! they told me that their vagcom was broken and couldn't clear that stupid fault code but i would get a call back from them. 3 times i checked in in them and still no progress. SUCK! they never follwed through.
second shop i know is pretty reputable among dubbers, but my dealings with GMG has not been pleasnt at all. i know that their a busy shop and they deal with a lot of high end costumers, and that setting appointments sometimes could be bit of a squeez. i was skipped on my appointment twice. i just felt that they wasted my time when i requested a day off from work for an appointment with them, but the person that was supposed to do my programming was at the track and nothing could be done. i recieved no calls about change in plans or possability to re-schedule. i can't even re-schedule because their totally booked for the next 2 weeks. Bad costumer service:tdown: "don't forget about the small guys here GMG"
so, does anybody know of other APR dealers in so cal that can hopefully resolve this APR fault code.???
Its called GIAC, call jeff moss at torque factory.
nuts to APR

Hartman Motorsports SUCKS big time. I was there once, and will never go there again.
Go to Ingolstadt West (North LA) and talk with Kevan. I haven't heard anybody getting bad service from them and personally I have only good things to say about them.

wasn't there a shop that just advertised in the classfieds regarding an apr deal somewhere in sd? i was thinking about doing the apr deal that they had, but i'm still leaning towards giac. good luck.

Sorry to hear that, real sorry too because I dropped my car off at GMG on thursday for like 2-3 weeks for a BT setup so I feel partly bad for your rescheduling issues. But when GMG chipped me it was a smooth process with no hangups. Fabryce handles the VW portion and from what I've been told he spaces and you have to stay on top of him. He forgot to have rental ready for me but I didn't care cause I knew they had plenty of gt2's to loan me if need be, lol. But James who works there and helped me that morning was quite upset that something like that happened because they try to pride themselves on effeciency and custmer service. But it takes what; an hour most to get chipped? Getting skipped once is not cool but twice?

yeah! they are a cool bunch at GMG and i'm sure that the incident was coincidential or bad timing if you want to call it that, but i just felt neglected as a customer. in the meantime, i'll be going up to Ingolstadt up in LA. on friday to see if i can hire their services. you guys know who i should get a hold of there?;)

and ive met Fabyce and Jason at GMG, ive heard they typically take care of their customers, but ya never know, sometimes shops just cant handle the load
