Valve Job.

Just got ahold of a used P&P head. I want to get the valves checked and what not. But I need to find a reliable and fairly priced shop to take it to. I'm spending this weekend cleaning it up but I want to leave it up to the pros to check valve seating and what not. :tup:

16V or 8V? How many miles on the head?

It's an 8V head from a mk2 GTi. Not 100% sure of the milage. Which is part of the reason for the Valve job. But the head is in good shape.

Another one to go along with this post. What should I use clean off all the flipping carbon from the bottom of the head and exhaust outlets?

I'd like to get this head redone while I'm shopping for an ABA block. Where in SD/ surrounding area should I take it for a valve job and cleaning?
