I only need one. Recently went through bad deal on vortex and only 3 wheels were shipped to me and they were painted black and not in good shape so I plan on repainting them but I need a 4th wheel. Any body who has or knows where I can find one for a good price please let me know thanks! :) I need it soon so I can have the 4 of them ready for OKTOBERFEST!!!!!!:tup:

over heating while idleing?

when I speed up the temp gauge goes down but when I idle it starts to over heat and the fans turn on? has anybody experienced this?

According to the British tabloids, The Stig was fired from Top Gear. In the light of the recent events, with The Stig, a.k.a. Ben Collins, looking to publish his autobiography, various sources are
reporting that the show�s producers had to let him go. Recently, more and more rumors are suggesting that one of the people under the white racing suit of The Stig is professional driver Ben Collins. There is a lot of evidence pointing to him, including some of his company�s financial statements. Currently, BBC and the Top Gear producers are fighting a legal battle against a publishing company which is looking to put Stig�s autobiography on the book stands.
Apparently, all the attention Ben Collins is receiving is bad for the show, so they had to fire him. The same sources say Top Gear has already found a replacement for The Stig.
This is all rumors at the moment, and none of this has been confirmed by the BBC , nor by Top Gear.

Street. We typically meet up right around 8:30 and hang out until
whenever... It is a very laid back atmosphere that tries to be more

Two wheels have minor curb rash (see pics). Otherwise, they are all straight and true. The chrome is in excellent shape and shows no signs of peeling. Overall, the wheels are in great condition and are without doubt very presentable as they are. No tires.

I would prefer to deal locally (SoCal 626 area) but I am willing to ship at the buyer's expense.

- both side axle and CV joint all replaced less then a month ago..also
-both side hubs and ball baring was replaced the same time...
-BBM short shifter

-small dents on both doors not that bad..easy fix
-Euro bumpers all around

-16v front lip all black

-Eibach Coil overs very low!

brakes
-New rotors and pads/ rear rotors are crossed drilled

So I keep getting things from Mckenna VW of Huntington Beach saying like "trade in your car!!!" or "free oil change with ___"

But really, whats the catch? I got one today saying "Vehicle Trade-in Voucher. We will pay off your trade-in no matter how much you owe!"

If that's the case I'm heading down there asap!

I always get these but never pay attention to them, so I decided to see if anyone knew what the catch is with that kind of thing?

Both pics are of the same tire. The other one has a little more tread on it as I used this one as a spare for two weeks. I can post pics if needed. Not a lot of meat left, but didn't wanna trash 'em when I got my new set.

Picked up in SD/Chula Vista area. PM me if interested.

I also have a 225/40/18 Toyo Proxes FZ4 with lots of tread left. Used for only 5k. Might post it later...

should I transfer the warranty on my APR chip?

Last weekend I found out that my 2003 1.8t gti is chipped with apr. Looks like i have three programs. I called the local apr dealer to see if I can find out which programs I have in it and get the identification code. Before I can do that i will need to pay APR's $150 warranty transfer.

Is it worth getting the APR warranty transfered under my name? I don't plan on upgrading stages or adding programs. Are there any APR specific problems or program updates since 2003?
