Now on topic, Interesting to hear some of the history. So where was the first GTG? KK or the tea place?
i still refuse to get a SCE shirt. i have a red socalivw/audi sweatshirt and a red and a grey shirt.

Tony and Sahand were the first people i met from the site, i set up a mexican food GTG and they were the only two that showed up. I had been on the site for a month or so...

i tried to goto a GTG at KK and no one was there, then i found out they moved the spot to Tea Station. My friend Gus is the one that told me about the site.
i think this was back in '01

    History of socaleuro.

Started as Socalaudi and socalivw ... 4 rings + 1 was the motto then. We quickly diverged into other makes to include BMW, and MB and well ultimately all euros. We have since grown a lot and through the help of its members become the largest european car community in socal. Founder for SCA and SCVW was Lon (AKA BUGZY, AKA POST WHORE, AKA FRIEND WHORE, AKA FORUM WHORE).

Lon, Rob, Jonelle, Tom, Manny, Robyn, Jason, Dan (backfart Dan), Ed, Reuben, Erik, Netnet, Richard (more but i forget) are probably the longest standing members of this community. They were at the first meets way back when.

Were you there when Melissa (boragirl) got in Tuscon's car, started it, and took off? That was some funny shit.

i think anyone who was registered on azian.com before SCE =) is pretty OG

but on a side note, at no means, do i think being the oldies on here makes you any better, because the site is founded on a group of people who share a common interest and support each other

what makes this whole place what it is, is the members

The first person I met in Socal (the region, not the club) was Paul.
I went to a KK GTG about a month after moving to CA.
The second person I met was Lon, and it took me about 3 months before I could remember which one was which. =)
