And then me and Paul and Manny and some others setup this big 80+ car meet at Krispy Kreme
that was pretty nutty
then we setup this one in Irvine CostCo, which was like 150 cars, which was pretty cool

I was there with a bunch of the SD people. That was back when we would drive up from SD every week for the OC GTGs. People wonder where my mileage came from. The 60+ mile work commute and the 120 mile GTG commute.

i never saw Lon's Jetta, but i think i am one of the OGs
apparently it wasn't 01, but it couldn't have been too long after SoCaliVW started that i joined.
my first caravan was to the hunington beach (vortex) GTG.
Ed's (Clandestine) S4 shocked the shit out of me, that car sounded mean at a cruising speed, and me in my little 2.0L16v had trouble keeping up with everybody
i still have pics from that GTG, that was the first time i saw Melissa'a car with the pink zebra interior....let's just say i laughed when i saw it

I cannot remember my introduction to SCE!!!
Hmmm I registered here about 3 years ago tho.
And Lon is correct... it's the people who make the site. I've been to and introduced many to SCE and the bigtime SCE meets. SCE meets have always made positive impressions on me, always civil and a lot of great people who love their brands.
First SCE Meet was the first SoCal Vs Nor Cal in SLO... Was nice but nothing compared to the last couple. Keep it up, the SCE North vs South events are the best.
