    Color Matching and rattle cans

Where and who would produce color matched spray cans that i can either go purchase at a store or if i have to order it. As i only have to do a mirror cover... its for temp use untill i can get the money up to actually get it painted. If anyone would also be able to chime in on price for getting the mirror cover painted that would also be helpfull.

All input is appricaited, and thank you in advance.

If it's for a VW, most dealers stock spray cans of stock vw color-code paint and clear coat. It's even self-leveling! They also sell those touch up pens and brushes-- but those are kinda hokey...

There is a sherwin williams automotive paint shop just off Morena Blvd just north of friars that can put anything you want in a spray can.

When I went it was a minimum of quart to mix and a minimum of 3 cans to put it into the spray cans. It was roughly 50 dollars for lake silver metallic and I got 3 cans with a about a pint left in the can.

Getting the paint is the easy part.

Getting it to look right.... Lets just say I was thinking the same thing until after I tried my hand at painting my engine covers first.

My intake mainfold came out nice... I'm up for a new challenge. I couldn't look any worse than it already does with the FLAT WHITE on the pearl.
