Managed to get a bit more work done today. Modified the seat tracks to get them to finally slie back car enough.
The seats were in the furthest right hole, the middle one was from the factory, I drilled another set about the same spacing to the left of the middle hole for more travel.
Both seats back in the car.
Yep, I think its far enough back. Frankly, Im not even that tall (5'8") I dont know how anyone could drive the car as it was before.
So it looks like the prep work is coming along well.
I think you are right on the pic I posted.. I remember that trans being a Getrag for some reason.

Any progress on the 120 Doug? I am still dying to see this thing completed!

Works VS-XX
Well, they can absolutely. But I paid less than 1/2 of what these would cost me new so I'll deal with the fact that they are FWD offset. The true RWD offset is around 10mm (these are 48 so almost 1.5"). Nice thing is I know 100% they will clear whatever brakes I end up running.
Just this:
Theresa and I bought a house. We actually ripped the kitchen out and have been pretty busy on it lately: http://www.forums.turbobricks.com/sh...ad.php?t=93636 (if you have a tbricks account) The garage is next months project then I'll finally be ready to start stripping it down. Oh, I'll have one of the few garages in Norcal with AC![]()
Very cool!! Gotta love renovations and a garage with A/C... that is a must here in Florida!
