Are all HID kits created equal?

Looking into getting an HID kit for my Coupe GT. Stock lights are the worst evar! Can barely see even with the brights on at night. I found an HID kit for $199 but I just don't know much about them. What's the deal?

find out who makes the ballast, and if it comes with relays / wiring harness. those are the 2 things that people skimp on

Ok, what names should I be looking for with the ballast? Wouldn't they all come with the wiring harness? I'll email them or call today and see who makes the ballast.

phillips or i forgot who the other good manufacturer is...

some of them don't come with wiring harnesses at all, just the bulbs and ballasts, and you have to figure out how to wire them up to your stock plug.

I also wouldn't want to put HID's into a reflector housing as you will be blinding alot of people. Definitely try to get a projector style housing for them.

some companies do sell the bulbs with the shields to keep the beam off the lower reflector from bouncing up into peoples faces.

Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."
