JOB: Summer Camp Counselor

Do you love kids?! Well then this is the job for U!

I currently work at Southlands Christian Schools here in Walnut. It's a K-12 school and during the summer, we have about close to 300 K-9th grade campers.

You get to supervise kids on campus as well as on field trips like: Disneyland, Universal Studios, Legoland, and other attractions in the southern california area. Half of the kids are from outside the country...mainly asia. It would be great if you were bilingual but it isn't necessary.

The pay does only start at minimum wage, however, you get to go on the trips for free, and have the experience of spending your summer impacting kids' lives. (Cheesy...I know...but I'm still work every summer for the last 7 years!)

If you would like to be a teacher for the summer and potentially during the year, this option is also available.

If you work here and have a child, he/she can attend the camp with an employee discount.

ex southlands counselor chiming in.

it's a wonderful job, i'd definitely go back if my current job didn't have me by the throat.

i really miss the kids, it's an awesome experience
