    Valence cutting

Good morning, does anyone recommend a place where I can get my golf's rear valence cut to accommodate my Milltek exhaust tips?

Any exhaust shop can do it - then just line it with some rubber trim

well if you cut a painted valence, you will more than likely damage the paint. therefore, it will need to get repainted. just buy a valence with the cutout and get it painted. that way, you can swap back to an uncut and painted valence if you go back to stock. or you could sell the uncut and painted one for some money.

If you are looking to see the quality of the work, its really going to depend on the shop and the guy that does it for you. Some guys are really good and make a nice clean opening. Others... others are not so good. Its just like anything else in life and takes skill to do right.
