DYNOed!!!!
its a 2006 gti 6mt.
my mods are: eurojet stage 3 FMIC, eurojet TBE, neuspeed pflo, neuspeed pulley, GIAC chip (91 oct). this was done on mystang dyno. i got 242whp and 261lb/tq. they told me that this dyno reads lower than others by 8-10%. so i called other shops and confirmed that. my real numbers are 261whp 282lb/tq

Re: DYNOed!!!!
very nice you have a sheet? Mine is still having issues, I've replaced the PCV valve, and the DV, I ordered the PCV metal hose yesterday, I will pick it up at the dealer on Monday, I'm only peaking like 17-18 pounds and we have the same software. The next mod is a TBE.

yes i do hava a sheet. its says 242whp and 261lb/tq. but those are not correct. i'm only spiking 16-18 and holding about 13-15. but its due to having FMIC and few different things tapped into vac line. if i change the nipple i get few more psi but then it makes noice, so i just have it this way.

Re: DYNOed!!!!
I would still like to see the curve if you can post it up to see what it looks like with all the add-ons. I used to spike at 20 but it has dropped, now today I went in to 7/11 for a Slurpee and came back out and my damn crank no start is back.

Are you referring to the metal ribbed PCV hose that goes from the head to the turbo? What do you know about those things? I've heard people changing these for some reason along with the actual PCV valve piece on the intake. I took a look at one and it's just a pipe. Didn't seem like anything special worth changing.

yep thats the one. the old pcv had 2 valves in them that fail. the new one has valve and another valve is in the metal pipe. which is much stronger. the reason people changing them is cuz the pcv fails and if u get the upgraded one it only has 1 valve, thats y u need to get the metal pipe

Re: DYNOed!!!!
Yeah, my car has 15K on it, and I have had the PCV valve itself replaced, but the hose is being troublesome to get replaced under warranty. The PCV system is notorious for causing intermittent boost leaks for a loss of a few pounds, which is why I think my numbers are so low. Its my daily and I've been lazy so I'm finally gettin around to doing it. I will replace the metal tube and head back for a dyno at VF.
I also have my suspicions of the DSG too

Re: DYNOed!!!!
I'm having flash backs of B5 S4's, Im sure there are LOTS of boost issues, if this thing keeps it up, its getting a for sale sign, and I will go back to N/A cars since I'm 0/2 on forced induction cars of my own, but when she runs good, she REALLY runs good. I wish I would have kept my MK3, damn.
Have you tried the Dyno in the VAG yet, from my understanding, its fairly accurate.

no not yet. i know that vag dyno reads engine hp and not whp. since i got my pcv upgraded, i have been pushing the car pretty hard and everything still fine
