Went in today to get my mid-muffler removed (sounds AWESOME) and Andy showed me all the cracks in my exhaust and welded them up no charge! He also re-hung my exhaust so it sits higher so I won't scrape as much at no charge as well! Gotta love American Muffler

    Re: American Muffler

Went over there to get my muffler replaced since my current one had rusted out quite a bit.

Andy took a look at it and said he could probably fix it, which was nice cuase it's an Oettinger piece.
After about 30 minutes of welding, he was able to seal it up, secure it better, and he even shined up the tips for me!

Pretty good guy and charged me a very fair price.

When I do finally need a new one, I'll be going back.

    Re: American Muffler

    Question..

If i would want to chop off my rear resonator/muffler, and replace them with straight pipes, would i have to buy the pipes myself? or would a muffler shop have the pipes laying around or such?

I want to have straight pipes going all the way back from the "8", which is the cat.

I have an aftermarkey exhuast on right now, which i am selling to a friend, so i would like to put the straigh pipes on and the Rogue IKON exhaust removed.

And i'm guessing i have to purchase my own tips as well?

They'll have all the parts you need, tips included. The muffler they may have on hand or they can get it within a few hours. BTW when is the photoshoot?

    Re: American Muffler

American Muffler took care of me. I just rolled up with my 00 Focus and my muffler and he said give 30 min. 30 min later my piping was done from the cat back with the muffler installed $80 out the door.
