we (herman cook volkswagen) takes all of our cars that need body work to fender mender in encinitas. dont know if they would do something like that, and i think they are expensive, but figured id throw it out there for ya

Do it. A Rabbit front end with shaved rubstrips definitely looks clean.
I'm not to fond of the TB kit honestly. It looks out of place.Derek

You could always do colormatched rubstrips:
Or swap with a 4-door Rabbit front end so you don't have to get it painted.Derek
