need help!
ok i gotta 03 b6 audi that i recently got it chipped on monday with the giac chip and all of a sudden today my check engine light pops on when i try to step on the gas and it spudders and the check engine light starts flashin...so i go home and use my vagcom on it and its saying mutiple cylinder misfire and cylinder 4 misfire, anyone have an idea why or what might be the problem? i need all the help i can get, don't have money to take it to some place so all the help is greatly appreciated...thanks

Take it back to where you got it chipped. They should of made sure there were no codes however there might of been something not relatedto the flash thats failed and caused the CEL. Ill take a wild guess and say you are using 87 octane fuel?

nope im running 91octane, could it have anything to do with maybe a bad spark plug or bad coil pack or maybe the coil pack popped out?

It could.
You might try installing new coil packs and plugs and go from there.

could i pop one coil pack off at a time when its running and see what happens, cuz i was reading on audizine on an forum about some guys problem and it sounded just like mine and he changed the coilpacks and spark plugs and now is all good...this is his post and it sounds just like mine

The coil packs sound like the more likely culprit. All of the spark plugs would not have failed at the same time, if they did then you have a much bigger problem on your hands.

Why not just try replacing the coilpack on cylinder 4? Vag-com told you that was the misfiring cylinder.
4 is the one furthest from the timing belt and closest to the transmission. So its either on the right or in the back depending on the orientation of your engine.

yup thanks for all the info guys, check it out today, put 4 to 1 to see if it was readin a misfire 1 and it was so already ordered them and waitin for group5 to call me when there in
