    Widebody '56 Porsche Speedster!!!

    I was at a bbq yesterday at a friend's house. One of their very rich friends owns this! Absolutely gorgeous car!!!!!

    I'm sure het gets to drive that thing about 4 times a year... the four times it isn't raining, or jut finished raining and all the roads are actually dry! lol.

    One day when I have the time and space I will build a kit car like that. I have thought about it a few times. Beetles are cheap, kits aren't that expensive and yeah they aren't real, but you don't feel guilty about beating on it in canyons or driving in bad weather. Did the owner of this one build it himself, or did he buy it finished?

    That was the first time I met the guy. I'm guessing he bought it finished. He is a big time investor and probably doesn't have much time to spend building cars.

    Wow, haven't seen that one at Bug-Run in Woodburn before.

    Not that you ever see many 356s! Tho I have seen more up here than I ever saw in SoCal (only remember seeing 1 near Ramona as a kid)

    How could you possibly infer from those pictures that it is a kit car? If the dude has a ton of coin, I bet its the real deal...
