Verdict Motorsport Shift Bushings

so i decided to see what this is all about. the whole install took me about an hour total.

I have EIP street series SS. After a few miles of driving, the shifts are crispier and I feel more confident that I am all the way in gear. It feels better than before. I used to have a hard time downshifting from 3rd to second. I would have to force the shifter into 2nd, but now its way smoother. it feels like it clicks when u are all the way in gear. anyways, to me it feels like its crispier and less spongy. Well worth $20…

The product

Start by removing the battery and the intake

the holding plate for the battery has 3 screws. (top, bottom, and far right)

this is what u will see

here is what you are going to work on

remove the retaining clip from the shift linkage

pry out the metal whatever its called, and then you can take the rubber bushing out.

install the new bushing with male end on the bottom

install the retaining clip

DONE

ok so i bought these too and havent installed them yet. but what is the significance of installing them the part that you replace the bushings for doenst move anyway IMO
please explain

also i bought these they seem like they would do more to tighten things up

so did you notice any difference in shifting or anything i know is in the 1st post but for the life of me i cant figure out why u would need to replace those bushings

the shifting feels crispier. better.
