    Why Mom's shouldn't ride dirtbikes

The surprise isn't that she falls, it's who she takes out in the process . . .

    ouch

watching the video, anyone think she was aimed at her already

it was an accident waiting to happen

if your gonna teach someone to ride a bike, dont you think you should teach them in a direction thats safe and has nothing around

No to mention... Put her on a smaller bike... Something that wouldn't fly out under her ass, which i'm surprised it didn't... Quick reactions... People need it, foot brake and disengage clutch...

Cars are a form of transportation... Volkswagen is a way of life.

that is a small bike. she'd probably crash into grandma on a 50cc.

i think crashing into something is a right of passage. i mean, i crashed my 1st time on a bike and i know quite a few who have as well. its the whole rubbing your head while patting your belly while hopping on 1 leg. its too many things to think about for a 1st timer and besides grandma was okay.

Yep, agreed. Very first time on a dirt bike when I was a kid, I took out the neighbor's mailbox with my helmet... Little ratty Honda minibike.
If you have to sit on a stack of pillows to see over the dash, you shouldn't be driving.

I never hit anyone when I was learning to ride a bike.
I did, however, neglect to check where I was putting my foot and put it down on the downhill side of a slope....
    twice.

I thought she was going to pop the clutch and fly of the back when I heard her on the throttle. Poor grandma got hit too. HA.

Re: Why Mom's shouldn't ride dirtbikes

I was riding a blaster in Ocotillo Wells few months back... Ran into a huge ass thorn bush first time out and was bleeding everywhere and had emo cuts on my arm, like 6... Looked pretty cool, and they made for good conversation pieces... But they are going away now... damnit.

And than the next week out I ran my own leg over with the same blaster... I was wearing Desert digi cammies, and DC Court shoes... leg flew down on a little jump and yeah...

Ankle was sore for a few days, ripped my shoe off and cut my sock open... I'm surprised I didn't break anything, let alone cut my foot open, since it stopped the quad and we were going like 35. I was last too... Buddy found out I fell behind though...
