    dude! don't tease the guy.....sheesh!

This ride is actually sporting a pretty beefy setup. What I see is clearly an over/under drive pulley setup for rotary pistons. Who's is this? I bet it puts down some numbers.

Even that Edelbrock intake setup is primed for a supercharger rig. Looks like the original supercharger may have been removed for some reason. (rebuild time or replacing with bigger blades or different pitch blades?)

If this guy is selling, the only thing to watch out for is the factory motor mounts. With the fuel mix he is running (you can tell from the external inline fuel filter --> blue = powah mix!) that this is not street legal. Probably a drag car in the works. But it's probably old enough that you'd never have to smog it and therefor wouldn't have to worry about aftermarket mods like this thing has.

Re: Does this have anything special??

wow.... ok the air filter is crap, one simple back fire and that thing is dripping molten foam into your intake. an actually, there isn't even a filter in that thing. So, theres no idea what could have gotten through it.

as for the engine, looks like a standard small block chevy, you can tell that by the fact that the distributor is on the rear of the engine, you can tell its a small block cause the valve covers are pretty small. internal wise, its prolly bored .030, which is pretty standard, prolly stock heads, edelbrock carb, and wieand intake, really doesnt do much but make it look pretty.

btw, you can tell its an aftermarket ignition system cause its all MSD red, it may just be a cap, or it may be a full set up. hard to say without actualy looking at it myself.

if you have any serious questions about this kind of stuff, shoot me a PM, ive been building them since i was 12.

Not to mention it looks like a engine sitting in a black hole. He also needs to get some clips for his spark plug wires... sheesh.

agreed, if that engine is in a Chevelle, Nova, or Camaro, you could tell that its a SBC, and not a BBC

Wait.. what could have looked the same between a Camaro and a Chevelle except for the bowtie??? And a 427 is like a 7.2-7.3 liter Big Block... it's like 2 times the size of a small block and fills the engine bay quite respectably... Unless you mean the crappy air filter...

Looks like an medium block 14 valve 450 cubic incher with 8 barrel Holley. Likely has single bolt main bearings, piston return springs and manifold bearings. Most of that vintage do. Whats it in, Mustang or Chevette?

I have a lowly TBI 350 in my Blazer.
