what a way to ruin an endangered species. That car (and any others) is now worth half as much as any other Enzo. Look at hack job slant nose Porsches from the 80's, all the Ferrari Daytona's that had a sawzall taken to their tops in the 70's. Shame.

E9 isn't a rare car with 400 of them ever made, even less due to the number being totaled (someone is keeping count). Gemballa aborted the CGT also. They build cars for Sheiks sons. Its like drawing on an original Van Gogh with sharpies to "make it better". Do you watch the collector car market? You know what old Ferrari's in the 3 digit production numbers go for? In 30-40 years, all the Enzo's will be bringing millions, and these will need millions to be restored, if they can be at all. They are only original once.

True but I would save all the parts just like on my e9 any mods I still have the original radio set of wheels and steering wheel but the Nardi one is original so im pretty sure any would prefer it over the others.
What do you think of Novitech?

Re: Gemballa MIG-U1 Ferrari Enzo redone

Putting an old BMW back together pales in comparison to what appear to be irreversible modifications to a car with such low production numbers. You know I can get just about any part for your E9 through the catalog. They made ten of thousands of them. They are rare in an old BMW respect, but you can get spares lots of places. You aren't going to find Enzo seats, fenders, exhausts and wings on eBay now, let alone in the future. The days of "future" barn finds are gone. All these cars will remain in the hands of collectors in climate controlled garages forever. Even the wrecked cars that were "totaled" are sitting somewhere waiting for the right time to be uncovered and restored or broken for parts. These 25 have a death sentence IMO. Some rich Sheik or self indulgent prick will pay Gemballa $500K to hack their car apart.....

Re: Gemballa MIG-U1 Ferrari Enzo redone

FXX is outacontrol! Don't we al wish we could drop $2.5 million on a handfull of track days!?!?! (not quite sure the price and number of times you get to drive under Ferrari's strict watch...)

But this Enzo is too much with ZERO known R&D on the body pieces. Did they test this car on a track? Put it in a wind tunnel @ least?

+1 with Mike, for lack of a better statement, what he said! This car is only original once, and with a production number of 400 worldwide...

Never like the styling of the enzo of the first place, just made it worse.

I'm definitely not a fan of the hack job they did to the Enzo, Ferrari are exactly that a Ferrari. They were engineered to be bad ass race cars, there is no need to add a shopping cart handle to the back of the thing and switching up the interior. I'm a Sad Panda.

    Ehh, I'd rather have a Mclaren F1.

Ferrari's just don't do it for me.... I had a chance to run a F40 on the 101 when I had my Aprilia, and I walked all over it. Supposed to have the same power to weight ratio as my 2000.5 RSV Mille too. Way dissapointed.
