can't be fixed. must be replaced.
you're joking rightOriginally Posted by mario
how much will that be around for a 2002 jetta???
Nothing to joke about - afterall, it is glass.Originally Posted by eonic
There are ways to repair it, but given the cost (which could run as much as a new windshield installed) and the fact that it's not something rare, I'd replace it.
I don't have any shop to recommend, but you may want to call your insurance company and see if they have any recommended places. Heck, your insurance may even have covered the glass with little or no deductible. It doesn't hurt to ask.
-- Kane ... of couse, if you have one of 'em half-assed insurance companies, then all bets are off.
round $200 - $250ish...
Safelite Autoglass - (800) 800-2727
Sioux AutoGlass - (323) 263-7308
they are both mobile....
thanks.. and you would trust them with your car right?? just making sure they are reputable, i'll give em a call. i was quoted $476 by Brundige Glass in Brea, o ya and that deductable thing... i cover the first $1000Originally Posted by GTi_01

I know the owner of Inland Auto Glass. It's based in Hemet but mobile. I'd trust them with any of my cars and he has great prices. 951-925-7043 That should be the number.
well lemme know guys. It also would depend on where the place is.
i had a windshield replaced from all star...............i paid around $230 installed and they came to my job and replaced it there..........its not an oem vw glass, mine is made by pilkington---------but it meets the oem standard for glass
any problems so far? and how long have you had it replaced for.. im thinking of getting mine done by themOriginally Posted by karl
Shouldn't be an issue. Pilkington is OEM for other manufacturers, so it's not like they're some cut rate company.

i just called all star and they quoted me 349 total and they said they use ppg and they can come to my worki might just set up an appointment with them
