Went back and forth, LS1 the miata, go bigger on S4, Turbo build the miata, sell S4 for Z06/E55. I think I will be happy with this. I won't be stoppign @ RS6s though, eventually after I recover from the whole build I'll be going GT2871 and my motor will be all nice and built with fancy internals and heads ready for 8,300 RPMs.

Good to hear! My buddy has a GT30 2.1L and that thing flies. Traction is ALWAYS a problem. Good luck on your build!

Hell I don't make enough money. I'm planning this out over the course of a year, buying a few parts here and there. When I add this up for all my parts, I hurts to think it's more then my car is worth.

I know that traction is going to be an issue but I am also going to be running on autocross tracks and road courses on sanctioned race tracks so for the most part I will be running Race compound tires and I'm putting about 3k in the suspension with everything fully adjustable and poly everything so hopefully I'll have enough capability to control everything. I am in the same situation the upgrades are going to be over the course of a year. I'll start a thread once I get a block to start working on.

I might use meth, hopefully not. It will definitely be hooked up from my setup now, but going 10s on pure 91 would be delicious.

Well Depending on what numbers I pull on the 2.2L I may put in a Meth Injection kit... I don't really feel like replacing a motor after I try a Nos shot and shoot the crank through the bottom of the block. I am not going to be drag racing for the most part so its really not necessary except for when I'm rolling down the street and your happy ass rolls by and I need to keep up .

Meth is alwyas good regardless. It will at minimum really help with your IATs, but you can also advance some timing for good fun. I have the DevilOwn kit, it's on the cheaper spectrum, but it does the job nicely based off the MAP (boost) sensor. The aquamist has a few kill/safety features that are nice but is almost double the price.
