Congrats and looking very sharp!
Congrats and looking very sharp!
The next step is probably to tint the windows and smoke the amber in the tails. I do really need to take out the dash to replace the A/C evap core, and heater core as long as I'm in there, but I probably won't have time til next weekend to start on that.
After that... possibly Vortech supercharger?

Thanks! Ongoing work... did the rear foglight/brakelight conversion this week, and the front sidemarker as turn signal mod too.

Added some better lighting to the trunk today, from under the side speaker trays. Now I can see stuff in my trunk at night. woot.

You have a lot of junk in your trunk
Yup. All the ongoing project parts are in the trunk... A/C evaporator core, heater core, HVAC fan, gaskets, etc etc

It was until someone backed into it a couple weeks ago. OUCH.
But thanks!! It drives very nicely.
Yup, auto - not that most VR6 guys want to keep the auto tranny, but the auto 93's are pretty rare.
I already have an R32 with that sweet 6 speed, and I've already been down the path of a Corrado with a built manual tranny with a short shifter. This is my luxo-cruiser for long drives in traffic. When this tranny gives out, I'll swap in a DSG from an Eos VR6 and make that work. With actual console mounted paddles, rather than wheel-mounted ones.

Step 1: paddle assembly from wrecked Ferrari F355 F1 at junkyard.
Step 2: hack into wiring harness for trigger wires.
Step 3: fabricate mounting bracket to attach F1 paddles to steering console.
Step 4: profit.
If I didn't see F355's commonly at the insurance wrecking yards, it would be preposterous. But people like to kill that car for some reason.
No pix uploaded of my dent yet.

Agent Orange (07-02-2012)
Currently got the dash out in process of replacing A/C evaporator core and doing minor airbox refresh. Discovered previous owner had "repaired" the air control flappers with duct tape, which is now falling off.
