What specifics are you talking about? They're all there!!!! And I haven't gotten to a PC to post pictures that is why I said text for pics!!!! So I'm supposed to go around posting hundreds of posts to make myself an honest member? It's not my fault I just bought my first Volkswagen recently and just registered to SoCal.... Who cares if theyre 'hot' , theyre just wheels not like they can be traced or have seriel numbers specific to a buyer. Just saying . 'hot' items are a great buy. Bump

^^^That is a terrible outlook to have on stolen goods. FWIW, possession of stolen goods is a crime as well. Even if you dont get into legal trouble over it, at the very least, you could have the wheels taken from you and you'd be out the grand you spent on them

People have the right to be weary of 'quick sales' like this.

OP, for more assurance, go ahead and take some pictures of the wheels with something that says socaleuro and your username on it, so it's visible to us all. While they may not be stolen, it's good practice to verify yourself before selling anything.

BTW, my Rotiforms have been serial numbered and documented for security reasons. It's not about getting the wheels back should the be found if stolen, its about kicking the ass of the mongoloid who stole them.

Dude, take it down a notch, please. No one was coming at you in a disrespectful manner. But when you post a set of wheels for sale with a low post count and no pictures, it makes people wary. "Txt me for pics" doesn't mean shit. Be mature about what you are trying to do here and people will respond in a like manner.

i guess i'll vouch for him. i don't know the OP but i know the car. it was my friend's old car. this guy bought the car from him, and these wheels did come on the car that he bought. there's my good deed for the week lol

but to the OP, no need to get all defensive. an older join date and higher post count does actually "verify" that you are trustworthy in the community and aren't just some crook trying to make a quick penny. plus, keeping your cool actually encourages people to want to do business with you. going off on people and acting like a martyr won't get you anywhere.

It was a bit suspicious to begin with. Despite the photos his attitude doesn't really reinforce anyones willingness to buy them - It would have been a lot simpler to upload a verification the first time instead of typing walls of text before he produces a photo. They're so easy to take nowadays that there really isn't much of excuse to not upload them in the first post. I can take a photo with any camera and have it up in less than 5 minutes... mobile photos are even simpler.

I wouldn't be incredibly surprised if someone tried to sell stolen goods here. From what I've seen so far, there are tons of great people on this forum. Regardless, the forum may be regional, but people do move around so it's still a possibility that they could be from another area. (Generally speaking, that is, I'm not referring to these wheels in particular)

Coming from a guy with a post count of 5. In perspective I could try and sell something then make multiple uaer names and inflate and bump the for sale thread. Just as an example. Im sure the guy is legit. Or not. Who cares haha
