Check vortex, as you may need to expand your search to more than So Cal, possibly. Took me quite a while to find one and the closest one I found that fit my standards was about 130 miles away which was extremely close (relatively). Depending on the condition and mileage of the car, you're probably going to pay anywhere from $12K to $18K on average. Good luck.

You think you have lag? It took Jesus 3 days to respawn.
If you're a broke ass like me you can always grab a gti with the r32 body, I still rock over 30mpg with the 1.8t, and I paid just around $8k at 75,000 miles. Barely have to put gas in it and the dual exhaust still sounds pretty good on the 1.8t (Though, not as good as the .:R)
I really liked the R32 body and liked the AWD but I was hard sought to find one that was a good deal. I was looking at R32's but they were salvaged or really expensive/not in the condition I wanted, i used both vortex and searched more than half of california (all major cities, + outlying counties) for over a year before I finally found mine. Price and condition was hard to beat so I took it... and ironically the car was less than 5 miles from my house. Patience is key!
Just my two cents![]()

Great car! I still miss mine, you can't beat that 3.2l VR6 sound! Good luck on your search, patience is key to finding the one for you. The good thing is they only came in 4 colors and 2 interior choices.
No kidding on having to be patient...the only finds I've run into are mostly out of state. But I'm sure I'll come across one

It's been said, but VWVortex is definitely your best bet for trying to find a R32. You may be even to find modded cars that suit your taste/budget. Good luck!
Looking to pick up an r32 as well, don't want the S2000 anymore, wish you luck man![]()
