    Trying to Buy A MINI COOPER ! ! ! ! ! :)

    i'm looking to buy a mini for a lil commUta

    i want a used mini but not sure if i should spend the money for the S*

    so i want to know if there are any turbo kits for the MINI COOPER*? bcuz i've never had a turbo car..and i think if i just spend the lesser money on the COOPER ...with the turbo the vehicle may be just as quick as the S*

    please help me.... i have no clue when it comez to minis

    used mini coopers hold their value very well. it might be worth it more to you to buy new, so you can use the warrenty to its fullest. most used minis are almost at the warrenty limit.. so if any thing happens, you might be screwed..

    i've been looking for the past two months and have learned alot..

    ya might want to talk to some mini owners at www.northamericanmotoring.com

    that.. and its cheaper to buy out of cali .. to save on dealer markup.. california is bad on the mark ups

    I know you drive an M3, but $28k is a lot for a commuter.... no?

    I have a mini cooper S for sale its blue with a white top a 2005, it only has 9000 miles on it and the john cooper works exhust on it. not sure what i want to sell it for make me a fair offer.

    you can easly get 23-25k for that...

    a used minis s at carmax with 35-45k on it go for about 19-22k

    I would definitely go for the S for the extra money if you got it. A custom turbo kit is not going to be great for a "commute" car as you will spend more time tuning and fixing it than is acceptable for a daily driver.

    or you COULD just spend the money on an S and have the same end result but with a whole lot less work and headache....and something that will probably be cheaper in the long run....

    want a turbo car? get a 1.8t or a 2.0T.

    yea..i'm going to go for the S* i keep trying to find 1 but they are way expensive....

    i only want to spend about 19k for an s with 30k on it.. year doesn't matter >>
    as long as its manual tranny>>> i'm gooood

    try carmax.com

    they are going for 19-23k

    I have a Mini S and it is definetly worth the extra money to get it. i love my mini.

    a '68 will do



    its the only style mini i'd ever own
