If I remember right you plug in the flux capaciter into the fegoni wiring, poor 5 cups of water on the chip and then drive off.

Actually I remember, you take the whole chip out and soak it in water for 36 hours. Once fully soaked immediatly plug it back in without drying it off and start the car.

Personally....just save the money and get a gt-28. Or if you really want it, be sure to get an extra ECU
my car is auto, so i cant do any big upgradesOriginally Posted by jr_scheiBe

i would go giac. parts4vws, abdracing, or jeff moss can get it for you
revo is great.
no chipping involved...just a quick re-programming of the ECU
i have a nuespeed but u have auto.
do u have the revo sps 1,2 or 3?Originally Posted by mario
i have revo and love it. i don't have any of the sps devices yet, but they're not necessary unless you want to change timing, go back to stock, etc...
icc the SPS 1 is the one i wanna get which changes between the stock and performance mode which is all i need cuz im not going to change anything else, plus its only $200 compared to $500 for the normal chipOriginally Posted by ehppah

I think most of it's going to be personal preference, There's a ton of other threads on the vortex about it. I wouldn't try to save money on a chip though. This is something that you want to make sure is done right. If you decide GIAC, then give Jeff Moss a call.

No really "Best" chip... People say APR tends to run conservative and GIAC tends to run aggressive (I've ran both in my car). I've heard good things about AMS program also.
